North Scott Hall


The largest residence hall on campus, Scott Hall consists of two connected 10-story housing facilities, North Scott and South Scott. The hall’s floors offer scattered, co-ed, and all women’s living options.

Residents of both towers share a large main lounge. The main lounge includes a kitchen, big-screen TV, baby grand piano, ping-pong, foosball, and pool tables. The main desk provides many items including games, kitchen equipment, and a change machine.

Hall Staff

Each wing in North Scott Hall has a Community Advisor (CA). The role of the CA is to help you in your on-campus living experience. They have been trained extensively in the areas of peer helping, university resources, planning programs and activities for you that will be fun, educational and also engage you in the hall, campus, and Oshkosh community.

North Scott also has a Senior CA who runs the front desk and works on a floor to put on variety of programs.

North Scott Hall

Located on one of Oshkosh’s main roads, Wisconsin Avenue, Scott Hall is located next to Blackhawk Commons and within a short walking distance from off-campus dining.

There is also a student Health Advocate in the building that can provide general medical information and supplies such as band aids, aspirin, and health brochures.

These student staff members are there to help you have a great time, as well as make sure that the hall community is a safe, respectful, and responsible environment for you to live in.

There is a Residence Hall Director (RHD) who is a professional that has earned a Master’s degree in Student Affairs or a related field. The RHD is here to supervise the staff, encourage leadership development, run the building, and make sure that you have a positive growing experience.

There is also an Assistant Residence Hall Director (ARHD) who is a graduate student that assists the hall director in the day to day operations of the building along with supervising the staff.
