The Department of Residence Life at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is proud to offer the LIFE (Learning in a First-Year Environment) Program to first-year students. LIFE is an all freshmen residential living environment designed to help freshmen make the transition from high school to college. We are excited to have this program continuing into its eleventh year in the 2016-2017 academic year. This year the program will be housed in Evans Hall, Stewart Community, Webster Hall, and floors 3-10 of South Scott Hall. This first-year residential living experience will aid students in a successful transition to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Explore. Engage. Excel.
Students who participate in LIFE will be encouraged to explore who they are, engage in the campus and Oshkosh community and to excel academically. Below are some of the ways the program allows participating students to do this.
Explore: pursue your passions, discover yourself, and achieve your goals.
Engage: build connections, create a community, serve others
Excel: achieve in and out of the classroom, become a leader, exemplify integrity
